Meet Emily the Chiropractor
Originally from Albury-Wodonga, Emily Purchase (formerly Emily Glaw) made the move to Melbourne and graduated with a Chiropractic degree from RMIT Bundoora in 2018. With a passion for sports and an extensive background as a netballer in the NFNL and sports trainer/first-aider for a NFNL Division 1 football team, Emily has always been drawn to treating and rehabilitating sporting injuries. Her experience in the field allows her to understand the demands of athletes and help them achieve optimal performance and recovery.
Over the years, Emily has expanded her expertise, working in a multi-disciplinary clinic where she developed a strong focus on patient education and holistic care. She has also cultivated a particular interest in women's health, supporting patients through pregnancy, period pain, and infertility, ensuring they feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their journey.
Emily takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to treatment. She combines techniques such as joint manipulation and mobilisation, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, myofascial cupping, taping, and exercise rehabilitation to provide tailored solutions for each individual. By integrating a variety of treatment methods, Emily ensures that every patient receives a personalized plan aimed at addressing their specific needs and improving their overall well-being.
